As a designer for Loyola University Maryland’s Marcomm Pound (a student sourced element of the marketing and communications department) I had the opportunity to make one half-page illustration and four spot illustrations for the March 2019 issue of Loyola Magazine.
The half-page illustration and two of the spot illustrations were for an article on FreshCrate, Loyola’s effort to help bring fresh produce to the York Road corridor food desert. The FreshCrate logo is geometric and their advertising features a bright yellow background. For my designs, I transformed all of the vegetables and fruits offered by the company into geometric figures. I used three of each for spot illustrations and placed a yellow background behind the pattern for the half-page graphic.
