As a designer for Loyola University Maryland’s Marcomm Pound (a student sourced element of the marketing and communications department) I had the opportunity to redesign the Loyola Fitness and Aquatic Center self-guided tour map.
The original design was dated and inconsistent with new branding colors for Loyola’s Recreation and Wellness department.
I used the brand manual to design a fresh and clean map that features varying tones of green and gray while keeping consistency throughout the design. I also chose to keep most elements left-aligned for visual elegance. Finally, I used the Gotham and Gotham Narrow font families to stay within brand, but created dynamism with color and weight of text.
