Object Abstraction

This abstract photo project aims to capture day-to-day objects in an unexpected way through gel lighting and a macro lens. Objects in this series include a sconce, a ruler, and a “no smoking” sign. Removing the visual context with which we usually experience these objects, the viewer is encouraged to examine the image and seek to investigate the conditions under which the photograph was produced.
